Our physical literacy school programming allows childcare centres and/or schools to provide additional services to parents with busy lives.
Most schools offer Monkeynastix programming as an enhancement program for parents to take advantage of. By offering enhanced or extracurricular programming it gives parents comfort their children are participating in more physical activities.
Our programming follows a 1:12 ratio, with a class assistant where necessary, to ensure that all children get quality time with the instructor. Participates in our term programs receive a Monkeynastix handout which changes each term and a certificate at the end of each term.
Monkeynastix gives schools the ultimate in flexibility. You choose the day and time for your weekly class, the number of weeks in your session and what age group you’d like to offer the program to. Once we have all the details, Monkeynastix will draft a custom letter and registration form for you to distribute to your students/parents.
In House Programs
Monkeynastix also offer “in house” programming, where the school or daycare can add us into their daily physical curriculum. Our qualified instructors will come to your school and provide weekly programming to your students. Monkeynastix will provide the service for 30 or 45 minutes per session, so you can have all the children at your school or centre enjoy the benefits of physical activity.
Special Events & Guest Appearances – Daycares, Schools, Camp Programs
Monkeynastix can come to your school for special events including camp programs, daytime programming and before/afterschool programming. We help provide active activities for schools looking to enhance their overall programming. We can visit as little as once a year to setting up consistent event appearances monthly or quarterly. Monkeynastix stickers are always provided as part of our 30 or 45 min lesson.
In summer months, we can provide integrated fun and active programming options for established summer camp programs in Essex where we can visit daily, weekly or monthly.

Infants & Toddlers
Enjoy a fun packed Monkeynastix lesson with a variety of safe activities and music. Each class begins with a fun Monkeynastix song, stretching positions, locomotion and fine motor activity. Using our specialized equipment, children then participate in a gross motor circuit which focuses on developing a specific skill each week, such as balance (balance beam), strength (p-bar), gross motor skills (trampoline).
Finishing our fun packed lesson our 2 to 3 year olds participate in a closing activity, where we work on children’s manipulative skills in sport development. The lesson ends with a closing song and Monkeynastix sticker changing weekly. New equipment and lessons are introduced weekly.
Playful Early Years – Age 4 to 7 years
Help your student develop remarkable self-image and self confidence through the individual success they achieve in our program using our specialized equipment and more challenging classes! Each class begins with a warm up which includes fun energetic Monkeynastix songs, challenging stretching positions, locomotion and fine motor activities. Children then participate in a circuit featuring a main activity with complementary substations focusing on a particular theme such as balance, strength, floor skills, cardio, speed and agility.
Ending the class with a manipulative activity, children are introduced to sport skills such as kicking, catching and throwing. We end our energy packed lesson with a fun closing song and children receive a Monkeynastix sticker. Children leave Monkeynastix feeling happy, confident and energized! New equipment and lessons are introduced weekly expanding on the lessons learned the prior week. Skill assessments are done annually in the Spring term.
Skill – 7 to 12 years
Having developed the foundations of fundamental movement skills, our 7-12 year old members will begin refining their fundamental movement skills by introducing them to the fundamental gross motor, fine motor and sport skills. Through our warm-up, children will learn the importance of warming up and preparing for exercise. After warm-up, children participate in a gross motor circuit featuring a main activity with complementary substations focusing on a particular theme such as balance, strength, floor skills, cardio, speed and agility. Lastly, children will continue to work on developing specific skills required for sport by participating in a team building or sport development activity.
Our goal is to get children “sport ready” and physically literate so they stay active and healthy for life! To track our members’ development, skill assessments are done during Spring Term.
